1. Website development
I develop websites, typically based around the WordPress Content Management Systems (CMS) but have also developed websites using HTML, CSS and PHP, Drupal, Moodle and more. Using a CMS means that you are then empowered to be able to maintain the content and website yourself, if that is what you want.
2. Teaching and training
I am an experienced lecturer/teacher (PGCE – FE & HE) having taught a range of topics such as standard office applications, introduction to network concepts, programming, website development (HTML, CSS, PHP, WordPress, etc.), programming (C, C++, etc.), computer architecture, computer diagnostics and repair, and other computer related topics. Some of these topics have also been delivered via training to local companies and organisations.
3. Computer repair
Computers go wrong and I have been repairing and upgrading them for some time. I can repair and/or diagnose most computer issues and in most cases, if local to Thatcham or Newbury, I am happy to visit onsite.
