Thatcham Flood Forum
The client, Thatcham Flood Forum, asked us to produce a website to keep the public informed of the Forum's developments and actions, but also to engage the public. The client wanted to maintain the site themselves but without the need to know HTML, to keep costs to a minimum and to allow the public to open up discussions via a forum.
For these reasons a non bespoke, open-source, theme was used along with two open-source applications, Drupal and phpBB. The former is used to manage the general website and is a Content Management System, the latter is an easy to use forum. The site has since been maintained and updated by the client.
